La Cisterna restaurant in Rome is one of the oldest in Italy and over the years it has been frequented by numerous famous people including Walt Disney who was inspired by the establishments “little secret”.

It is a part of the ritual when eating out at La Cisterna that you take a visit to the lower floor and view the level that many years ago was the ground floor.
